Principle of operation

Principle of operation

The product is passed through the separator, attracting and holding the ferromagnetic impurities on the surface of the magnetic rods under the influence of a magnetic field created by the high-energy magnets. Cleaning of the separator is carried out by washing when feeding of the product is stopped.

Design features of the separator

Design features of the separator

  • Mounted on the pipelines of product feeding.
  • Dimensions of fitting pipes of the separator can be made according to the appropriate size of the pipe.
  • Magnetic induction on the surface of the magnetic blocks is at least 0.5 T, depending on the product to be separated.
  • Separator housing is made of stainless steel of high wear resistance.
  • Operating pressure is up to 0.8 MPa, the temperature is up to 60ºC.
  • Separator could be supplied according to  customer requirements.
  • Cleaning of the separator is carried out manually (STS) or mechanically (STS-М).
