Principle of operation

Principle of operation

The product is passed through the separator, attracting and holding the ferromagnetic impurities on the surface of the magnetic rods under the influence of a magnetic field created by the high-energy magnets.
Required temperature of the product is support by means of thermal liquid circulation.
Cleaning of the separator is carried out by washing when feeding of the product is stopped.

Design features of the separator

Design features of the separator

  • Mounted on the pipelines of product feeding.
  • Dimensions of  the separator fitting pipes can be made according to the appropriate sizes of the pipe.
  • Special heating system is available for  preventing from hardening of  the product to be separated.
  • Magnetic induction on the surface of the magnetic blocls is at least 0.5 T, depending on the product to be separated.
  • Separator housing is made of stainless steel of high wear resistence.
  • Operating pressure is up to 0.8 MPa, the temperature is up to 100ºC.
  • Designed of a net type STMOS.
  • Cleaning of the separator is manual (STMO) or mechanical (STMO-М).
  • Supplying of the separators according to customer requirements is possible.
