Principle of operation

Principle of operation

The product is passed through the separator, attracting and holding the ferromagnetic impurities on the surface of the magnetic rods under the influence of a magnetic field created by the high-energy magnets. Cleaning of the separator is carried out by washing when feeding of the product is stopped.

Design features of the separator

Design features of the separator

  • Mounted on the pipelines of product feeding.
  • Dimensions of  the separator fitting pipes can be made according to the appropriate sizes of the pipe.
  • Magnetic induction on the surface of the magnetic blocls is at least 0.5 T, depending on the product to be separated.
  • Separator housing is made of stainless steel of high wear resistence.
  • Operating pressure is up to 0,8 МPа, and temperature is up 150ºС.
  • Cleaning of the separator is manual (STM) or mechanical (STM-М).
  • Supplying of the separators according to customer requirements is possible.
